The Agriculture Sector of Punakha Dzongkhag Administration promotes sustainable use of arable land and pasture to enhance food security and reduce poverty. It aims to increase agricultural productivity and self-sufficiency by planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating agricultural activities while providing extension services at the Gewog level.
