The Dzongkhag Administration, Punakha has initiated 280 meters of road widening works from the Dzong view point to Punakha Central School. In this context, the Dzongkhag has arranged the following timing for commuters on this road:
Work start: 9:00 AM
Traffic opening: Every 20 minutes
Lunch: 1:00 – 2:00 PM
Work start: 2:00 PM
Traffic opening: Every 20 minutes
Evening and Night: 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight – Traffic will open at the top of every hour if required.
Note:
The road will open during emergencies as and when required.
